I do freelance graphic art and web design. I build sites from scratch in HTML, do graphics in Photoshop and Illustrator, and program in Perl, PHP, XML and XSLT.
I designed the site for The Ranch of the Risen Son in 2008.
I designed the Cashman Development site in 2006. I did all the graphics and programmed the navigation system in PHP.
In 2005, I designed my husband's personal web site, Steve's Think Tank. it is written in Perl, using a PostGreSQL database for the dynamic content, which he maintains himself.
In 2003, I did some letterheads and Web graphics for Jordan, Quinn & Carmona, a law firm in Austin, Texas.
In 2001, i designed the Portal Films site for my husband's freelance film editing business.
In 1999, I designed and built the Continental Sedan site. the contact form is written in Perl.
I work at Verizon on the Verizon Business public web site and the Medium Business web site. I do development and technical project management, but mostly technical project management.
I don't do a lot of graphic design, but when I do, I enjoy it.
I designed the interface to the marketing campaigns system site, called "Joy":
I also designed this banner for the Digital Media Technologies team - with less than a week's notice.
The design team at my company required a database to house their images and keep track of which have been used and on what campaign. I not only designed the application (which is basically a rudimentary shopping cart system), I wrote most of it myself in Perl and PostGreSQL. (OK - I wrote it, but paul sanders made it work properly!)
