This movie I picked up at Hollywood Video when it closed for a dollar. It has sat on my shelf unwatched forgotten about until the other day.
This is a low budget, independent film with an odd storyline or three. The main plot follows an escaped mental patient who kidnaps a film crew and tries to force them to film his script.
The movie is very slow to get going. It has several sub plots that play out in the first forty minutes that seem to drag on. Once they are kidnapped, this is where the movie gets good. Shatner is fantastic as the mental patient. He really played crazed very well. The rest of the cast all do a great job in their roles.
The movie would get higher marks if the first half was condensed a little, but it is worth the wait. Definitely with more than the dollar I paid for it.
