| This is the first time I have been to this restaurant. We sat in the bar area which is a lot less formal than the rest of the restaurant. I have been by this place several times, and they have just finished a complete refurbish to the building and I have to say, it looks fantastic. Though they have a dining room, they look to cater more to functions than to the casual diner.
The food is very good - equal to that of Manchester Grill. The place where Marco Polo falls short is the price category; they are at least 2-3 dollars more expensive per entree than other restaurants in the area. The food is good, don't get me wrong, but you can get equally good food a stone's throw away without paying as much.
The restaurant does have a very good vegetarian selection, which my wife was happy to see. She had the vegetable pasta which came topped with a huge amount of mixed vegetables. I had the fish and chips and I am happy to say that the fish was good with no bones and the chips were home made and not out of a packet.
Overall a good restaurant but a little over-priced for what it is.
